Four players caught with clenbuterol in Mexico

Four Mexican players were caught with the forbidden doping clenbuterol, said a representative of the World Football Federation (FIFA). They did not have positive doping tests, as did five of their teammates a month ago.

"It is surprising how so many players from one team have been caught of clenbuterol in their blood. However it comes about 14 people," said the director of medical department at FIFA - Jiri Dvorak. President of the Mexican Football Federation Hustino Kompean refused to name those players:

"Each of us can have traces of clenbuterol in their blood. These are just a monitor and they do not reach the required level to be classified as doping."
