New victims of bad weather in Mexico

Mexican authorities confirmed today information on five new deaths from tropical storm "Arlene" in which the total number of victims rose to 16. A man with his son died trying to cross the bridge into the city Zenta in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Meanwhile, authorities in northern Tamaulipas country reported that two people drowned in the town of El Manta and that another person died in the town of Altamira. Storm "Arlene", which at the end of last week seized the majority from Mexico, and cause activation of several landslides.

Mexican Weather Service reported that at least ten counties in central and northern parts of the country are on the verge of evacuation due to possible heavy rains after the storm. According to preliminary data, the number of victims of the storm is about 278 000 people.
